• To ensure that applicable codes, guidelines and standards recommended by the organization, administrations, classification societies and maritime industry organizations are taken into account.

• To achieve the above mentioned objectives, the Company will provide the necessary resources and qualified personnel, defining its organisation, identifying specific tasks and responsibilities, establishing training requirements and co-ordinating all the tasks in order to maintain its ship and equipment in conformity with the applicable rules and regulations
• The successful achievement of the above mentioned objective is mainly based upon the professionalism and effectiveness of our personnel, which is the most valuable element of our company. The implemented Safety Management System, as it is documented in the Safety Management Manuals, 1. Apex Manual i.e. Safety Management Manual (SMM) 2. Procedure Manual 3. Work Instruction Manual as well as the existing procedures in use, are supervised, inspected and reviewed as necessary for continual improvement by the Management which is responsible to ensure that all employees understand and maintain effectively the company’s policy on safety and environmental protection matters ashore and at sea
• Company’s objective is achieved by developing appropriate procedures including those for continuous training of personnel ashore and aboard such that they are aware of their role and responsibility in achieving conformance with safety and environmental protection policy. To develop procedures including emergency preparedness/response and measures to safeguard the identified risks is another objective
• A Safety Management System has been established to ensure compliance with all national and international regulations and relevant standards and guidelines, concerning safety and environmental protection keeping in mind to achieve the objectives with continuous improvement
• The company’s Safety Management System implemented both ashore and on board its ships is described in the Safety Management System Manual. This system is based on the A741 (18) IMO resolution as amended in December 2000 by resolution MSC 104 (73) and ensures compliance with the International Safety Management Code.
